Age between 18 to 35 years? 28 weeks of pregnancy or higher together with measuring the first day of the last menstruation? deciding to become pregnant? not having chronic and medical diseases in the past such as diabetes, high blood pressure and so on
which they suffered from during pregnancy or before pregnancy? no history of diseases debilitating and limiting health such as skeletal and muscular diseases? no doctor's advice to rest in pregnancy? absence of depression and avoiding the use of psychotropic medications before pregnancy and during the current pregnancy? absence of disorders such as pre-eclampsia, Placenta previa, pre-term labor symptoms, multiple birth, rupture of membranes and so on which make pregnancy very risky? Non-smoking, hookah and other tobacco? not participating in any training classes where there are physical activities like aerobics and so on? absence of stressful events during the study for subjects under investigation such as: death of a spouse, divorce, separation from a spouse, imprisonment and death of a close member of the family (according to the 5 item Holmes- Rahe scale) which became obvious through asking expected unit.
Exclusion criteria:
Not willing to carry on cooperating in the research for any reason and in any stage? not doing Alexander technique properly including not doing it and absence more than 2 sessions in Alexander Technique teaching classes? pre-term birth, fetal death during pregnancy or the baby at forty days after giving birth and anomalies and diseases of infants or new-born who require special care? mothers who will suffer from postpartum complications such as Thrombophlebitis, postpartum infection, pulmonary embolism, severe bleeding and so on? The absence of more than three times in maternal and child health classes for control group
