Inclusion Criteria

Patients between age group of 18 to 60 years will be included.

Patients diagnosed with Uttan Vatarakta (Gout).

Patients indicated for Virechan Karma will be included.

Patients with raised Uric acid levels in male from 7 mg/dl to 15mg/dl and in

female from 6.5 mg/dl up to 15mg/dl

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnant women and lactating mothers will be excluded.

Patients Contra-Indicated for Virechan Karma.

Patients with Complications like Deformity of joints and loss of function of

joints etc.

Patients on regular Steroids, Analgesics and other medicine for Gouty Arthritis.

Patients having Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and other chronic and acute

diseases and IHD, Alcoholic patients, Hypothyroidism, Cushing Syndrome,

Immuno-compromised disorders. Patients having Congenital and Genetic

Disorders.
