Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with an indication for the removal of a mandibular third molar under local anaesthesia
- •2\. Aged between 18 and 40 years
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with decompensated systemic diseases contraindicating or impeding dental treatment
- •2\. Patients with history of transalveolar extraction
- •3\. Patients with history of hypertension or were receiving medication capable of interacting with the drugs contained in the anesthetic solutions used.
- •4\. Patients with histories of anxiety episodes or on anxiolytic treatment
