Inclusion Criteria
Patient undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal (G.I) malignancy (upper G.I, lower G.I, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries ) with or without history of NACT/RT (neo adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy) in the past, of age 18-70years, ASA grade 1-3
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with documented delayed gastric
emptying or slow G.I motility
2. Obesity
3. Emergency surgeries and Palliative surgeries
4. Gastric outlet obstruction (G.O.O)
5. Patients undergoing surgery for recurrence
6. Patient refusal
