Externalroot resorption is a common unfavorable side effect of orthodontic treatment.In orthodontic treatment approaches, the magnitude, duration, and type oforthodontic force application are important considerations. The maxillarylateral incisor had the highest root resorption, followed by the maxillarycentral incisor. The severity of rootresorption may be related to greater tooth mobility after orthodontictreatment. i-PRF is the second generation of platelet concentrates, and it hasthe advantage of gradually releasing growth factors over time. According tocurrent research, i-PRF accelerates tooth movement. There was no goldstandard for detecting and evaluating orthodontically caused root resorption(OIRR). Traditional radiography may not be sensitive enough to detectroot resorption in its early phases; however, evaluating root resorptionbiomarkers in GCF has been shown to be a safe and accurate alternative todiagnosing and monitoring OIRR.

- •patient with Class I / half cusp Class II malocclusion cases with moderate to severe crowding in maxillary arch (>6mm Little’s Irregularity Index).No previously reported or observed active orthodontic treatment.
- •Completed root apexification assessed with periapical radiographs.
- •Patients with healthy periodontium and no gingival inflammation at the experimental sites.
- •Patients with positive informed consent.
排除标准
- •patient with Platelet count less than normal 150000 per µl of blood.
- •Patients on regular antibiotics, steroids or anti-inflammatory drugs.
- •Signs of external apical root shortening observed at the preoperative radiographic examination.
- •Non- compliant patient with poor oral hygiene.
- •Syndromic patients.
