Inclusion Criteria
Having irritable bowel syndrome based on ROME IV criteria
Beck's depressive score above 17
Clinical diagnosis of major depressive disorder
Exclusion Criteria
Age less than 18 years and over 60 years
History of dementia
Weight loss of more than 5% of the patient's weight in the last 6 to 12 months
Hematochezia
Anemia
History of bleeding from gastric ulcer
Gastric or peptic ulcer
Inflammatory bowel disease
Mental retardation
Cancer
