Inclusion Criteria
1 Meeting the ICHD 3 criteria for chronic migraine
2 Headache history >3 months
3 Willing to complete daily diary
4 Willing to take medication for 45 days
Exclusion Criteria
1 Age below 20 and above 60 years
2 Marked depression anxiety and psychosis
3 Major medical illness under treatment
4 Pregnancy
5 Use of any alternative medication during the study period
6 Patient suffering from secondary causes of headache
