Exclusion Criteria
No sonography/imaging of the punctured artery prior to the initiation of VA-ECMO
to short time in ECMO-therapy

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Primary outcome will be the scheduled termination of therapy with va-Ecmo and the examination, if there has been critical leg ischemia. Evaluation will be almostly acquired by the documentation written during therapy.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Predictability of critical leg ischemias with va-ECMO even before punction because of the artery diameters and accordingly prophylactic care with a distal perfusion
