Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Aged between 18 and 70 years
  • 2\. Having type 2 diabetes for at least 2 years
  • 3\. Poor diabetes control (HbA1c \>8\.0mmol/l)
  • 4\. BMI\= 25
  • 5\. Self\-reported difficulty to follow a healthy diet;
  • 6\. Being in general good health
  • 7\. Treatment of diabetes by diet only or tablets

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Neurological and psychiatric disorders including eating disorders and clinical depression
  • 2\. Alcohol and/or substance abuse
  • 3\. Treatment by insulin, GLP\-1 or DPP\-4 inhibitors
