- •1. Neonates delivered after a gestation period of over 37 weeks
- •2. Neonates of 1- 28 days of life
- •3. Neonates who are on oral feeds and last oral feed not less than 30 minutes
- •4. Neonates in a state of wakefulness
- •5. Neonates undergoing purposeful heel prick for neonatal screening
- •6. Neonates’ mothers willing to participate
- •7. Baseline cutoff pain score = 6
