Inclusion Criteria

Patient giving informed consent.

American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) grade I or II scheduled for laproscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia.

Patient aged 18-65 yrs.

Patients with BMI of 18.5-22.9 kg/m2.

Exclusion Criteria

Allergy to local anesthetic agents.

Skin conditions precluding the block.

Preoperative chronic dependence upon opioid medication.

Skin infection at the puncture site.

Surgeries lasting for more than 120 mins.
