Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Glossopharyngeal neuralgia
- •2\)VAS \>3, in spite of oral medications of amitriptyline 10 mg HS, Pregabalin 75 mg BD for at least one week
- •3\)18 to 65 years
- •4\)Patient consenting for inclusion in the study
- •5\)Failure of symptomatic treatment for at least 6 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)History of drugs allergy including steroid and anaesthetics
- •2\)Body mass index of \>\=35 kg/m2
- •3\)Local or systemic infection
- •4\)Pregnant patient
- •5\)Previous injections within 3 months
- •6\)Uncontrolled diabetes
- •7\)On anticoagulation therapy or uncorrectable coagulopathy
- •8\)Acute traumatic, infectious, or pathologic cases
