Inclusion Criteria
1)Glossopharyngeal neuralgia
2)VAS >3, in spite of oral medications of amitriptyline 10 mg HS, Pregabalin 75 mg BD for at least one week
3)18 to 65 years
4)Patient consenting for inclusion in the study
5)Failure of symptomatic treatment for at least 6 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
1)History of drugs allergy including steroid and anaesthetics
2)Body mass index of >=35 kg/m2
3)Local or systemic infection
4)Pregnant patient
5)Previous injections within 3 months
6)Uncontrolled diabetes
7)On anticoagulation therapy or uncorrectable coagulopathy
8)Acute traumatic, infectious, or pathologic cases
