Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Glossopharyngeal neuralgia
  • •2\)VAS \>3, in spite of oral medications of amitriptyline 10 mg HS, Pregabalin 75 mg BD for at least one week
  • •3\)18 to 65 years
  • •4\)Patient consenting for inclusion in the study
  • •5\)Failure of symptomatic treatment for at least 6 weeks

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)History of drugs allergy including steroid and anaesthetics
  • •2\)Body mass index of \>\=35 kg/m2
  • •3\)Local or systemic infection
  • •4\)Pregnant patient
  • •5\)Previous injections within 3 months
  • •6\)Uncontrolled diabetes
  • •7\)On anticoagulation therapy or uncorrectable coagulopathy
  • •8\)Acute traumatic, infectious, or pathologic cases
