Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •a)Patients of 50\-80 years of age, of either sex,
  • •posted for elective/emergency hip surgeries
  • •under central neuraxial block
  • •b)ASA physical status 1 and 2
  • •c)Patient with normal cardiopulmonary function

Exclusion Criteria

  • •a)Refusal by patients for procedure
  • •b)Patients with deranged coagulation profile or
  • •with bleeding diathesis
  • •c)Patient with mental ,neurological disorder,
  • •severe cardiovascular disease
  • •d)Patient with puncture site infection
  • •e)History of allergy to local anaesthetic
  • •f)Neuromuscular diseases
  • •g)History of epilepsy and alcoholism
