a)Patients of 50-80 years of age, of either sex,
posted for elective/emergency hip surgeries
under central neuraxial block
b)ASA physical status 1 and 2
c)Patient with normal cardiopulmonary function
a)Refusal by patients for procedure
b)Patients with deranged coagulation profile or
with bleeding diathesis
c)Patient with mental ,neurological disorder,
severe cardiovascular disease
d)Patient with puncture site infection
e)History of allergy to local anaesthetic
f)Neuromuscular diseases
g)History of epilepsy and alcoholism
