fulfilling at least 2 of following 3 criteria
(Rotterdam revised criteria for PCOD, 2003)
1. Oligomenorrhoea, and / or Anovulation
2. Hyperandrogenism (clinical and/or bio-chemical)
3. PCO- diagnosed by USG
1 Patients having any other disease causing oligomenorrhoea and anovulation excluding PCOD on above criteria.
2 Any organic lesions of reproductive tract like TB, carcinoma and congenital deformities or any other pelvic pathology.
3 Patients suffering from adrenal hyperplasia, severe insulin resistance, androgen secreting neoplasm, thyroid abnormalities, Cushingââ?¬•s syndrome, cardiac diseases will be excluded.
