Supportive Supervision:
• Mothers of MAM children enrolled will be given
- counselling and feeding support periodically for 12 weeks.
-preparation of nutrition rich diet with locally available food items
- ensure proper diet taken by the child (Take Home Ration).
- Awareness programs
-Training of Anganwadi workers
• Mothers of SAM children enrolled will be given
- counselling and feeding support periodically for 12 weeks.
- preparation of nutrition rich diet with locally available food items
- ensure –150-220 kcal/kg body-weight/day for the enrolled child
-Awareness programs
-Training of Anganwadi workers.
• Routine care in the Anganwadi of enrolled children in the control area
1.Any clinical finding/reports suggestive of a disease which require hospital admission
2.Family moving out of study area before the data collection period accessed at the time of
recruitment
