Patients undergoing phacotrabeculectomy at our centre who are willing to sign informed consent and assure follow up visits. Patients who fulfill the inclusion criteria
-Moderate to advanced glaucoma with cataract
-Uncontrolled glaucoma on maximal medical therapy with cataract
-Intolerance to topical therapy
-Macular edema before surgery
-Diabetic retinopathy with CSME or DME
-Retinal vessel occlusion disease
-Macular degenerative disease
-Epiretinal membrane
-History of uveitis
-Previous ocular laser procedures other than laser iridotomy
-Previous intraocular surgeries
-Signs of ocular trauma
