1. Age between 16 and 24 years
2. Diagnosis of anorexia nervosa according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition
Exclusion Criteria
1. Age under 16 years
2. Age above 25 years
3. Individuals with diabetes mellitus or inflammatory bowel disease
