A prospective, randomised study aims to explore the immediate effect of hot foot bath & cold chest pack individually & as combined treatment on heart rate variability in hypertensive individuals as primary outcome.

Inclusion Criteria

Systolic Blood Pressure more than equal to 140mmHg and Diastolic Blood Pressure more than equal to 90mmHg.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Secondary Hypertension 2.Cardiovascular events or hospitalisation for flimsy angina in recent 3 months 3.Pregnancy 4.A medical condition likely to restrict endurance to < 3 years or a malignancy other than non melanoma skin cancer in recent 2 years.
