Inclusion Criteria
- Presenting within 48 hours after the onset of AP
- Mild AP
- Age ≥18 years
Exclusion Criteria
- Moderately severe AP
- Severe AP
- Organ dysfunction
- Neoplasms
- Acute on top chronic pancreatitis
- Patients who plan to perform operation
- Pregnant women
- Received enteral support via tube feeding or parenteral nutrition
- Received parenteral narcotics for abdominal pain <6 hours prior to
randomization
