Inclusion Criteria
The inclusion criteria were a minimum of 0° of passive ankle dorsiflexion, an absence of significant lower extremity pain or sensory deficits, and the ability to ambulate for up to 14 meters without the use of an assistive device. All subjects exhibited sufficient communication and cognitive capabilities (mental status examination score>24) for participation.
Exclusion Criteria
Subjects were excluded if they exhibited lower extremity fracture or ankle contracture (MAS=4).
