Inclusion Criteria
children upto the age of one year undergoing any surgeries below the umbilicus
Exclusion Criteria
Any contraindication to caudal analgesia like
1) Local infection/inflammation at site
2) Congenital malformations of spinal cord
3) Coagulation disorders
4) Allergy to local anaesthetics
5) Neurological disorders
6) Increased intracranial tension
7) Surgeries beyond one hour duration
