This study is a double blinded randomised control trial to find the difference in quality of recovery in  patients undergoing abdominal surgeries under general anaesthesia  with and without music therapy.

Inclusion Criteria

ASA 1 & 2 patients undergoing abdominal surgeries under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion Criteria

ASA 3 or more -Emergency surgeries -Cognitive or psychiatric disorders -Hearing – impairing disease -Chronic treatment with analgesics -Patients not extubated immediately after surgery -Patients who deny consent.
