Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Permanent mandibular molar teeth
- •2\. Negative response to pulp sensibility test (cold and electric pulp test)
- •3\. Radiographic evidence of periapical radiolucency on intraoral periapical radiograph (PAI Score\>\=3\)
- •4\. Teeth exhibiting either healthy periodontium, mild, moderate, severe chronic periodontitis (generalised)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with systemic diseases which could impairing the healing
- •2\. Patients with habit of smoking, bruxism
- •3\. Presence of crack/ subgingival caries/ radiographic evidence of apical root resorption and non\-restorable teeth
- •4\. Teeth with Combined endo\-perio lesion with communication ( \<2mm of radioopaque bone between periodontal destruction and periapical lesion)
- •5\. History of recent periodontal therapy (within previous 6 months)
- •6\. A positive history of antibiotic use within the past month
- •7\. Teeth with Grade III mobility
