1. Permanent mandibular molar teeth
2. Negative response to pulp sensibility test (cold and electric pulp test)
3. Radiographic evidence of periapical radiolucency on intraoral periapical radiograph (PAI Score>=3)
4. Teeth exhibiting either healthy periodontium, mild, moderate, severe chronic periodontitis (generalised)
1. Patients with systemic diseases which could impairing the healing
2. Patients with habit of smoking, bruxism
3. Presence of crack/ subgingival caries/ radiographic evidence of apical root resorption and non-restorable teeth
4. Teeth with Combined endo-perio lesion with communication ( <2mm of radioopaque bone between periodontal destruction and periapical lesion)
5. History of recent periodontal therapy (within previous 6 months)
6. A positive history of antibiotic use within the past month
7. Teeth with Grade III mobility
