Inclusion Criteria
Patients with symptomatic third- and fourth-degree hemorrhoids who are candidtates for hemorrhoidectomy
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with concomitant anal disease (anal fissure, fistula, abscess, dermatitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colititis)
2. Patients who are on treatment with antipsychotic or anti-anxiety medications
3. Patients who have previous anal operation histories
