Factors associated with coronary calcium score and incidence of composited cardiovascular events which defined as death, MI or heart failure within 6 months after enrollment in CKD patients who have intermediate risk for coronary heart disease. Patients who had received dialysis or coronary revascularization were excluded.

Brief Summary

The CAC score showed inversely correlation with GFR level. Increasing Osteocalcin level and T2Dm with TOD were significantly correlated with increasing CAC score in pre-dialysis CKD patients.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Age over 18 years old
  • 2\. Patients with chronic kidney disease who have not received hemodialysis and stable GFR more than 3 month
  • 3\. Patients who have previously checked the coronary artery calcification from CT Coronary artery calcification score within 1 year from the date of study or a new patient with an indication of the existing coronary artery calcification from the existing.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients who had received dialysis or coronary revascularization were excluded
