Inclusion Criteria
All patients of 18-60 years of age group belonging to ASA 1 and 2 physical status posted for elective lower abdominal surgeries under SAB
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with known allergy to local anesthetic drugs
Patients with local infection
Patients with documented neuromuscular diseases
Patients with respiratory compromise
Patients with history of bleeding disorders or patients on anticoagulant therapy

Name Time Method 1. Onset of blockade- sensory and motor blockade <br/ ><br>2. Duration of the blockade- sensory and motor blockade <br/ ><br>3. To assess the hemodynamic stability in both the groups <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: dermatomal levels tested every 1 minute until the highest level is achieved for two consecutive tests and every 15 minutes until the point of two segment of the block.Ramsay sedation score and modified bromage score every 1 minute till the score 3 was achieved and thereafter every 15 minutes
