Inclusion Criteria
Male or female subjects older than 18 years; Fulfilled DSM IV-TR criteria for major depressive disorder; Baseline score ≧18 on the HDRS-17; no history of antidepressant treatment during current three months.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who have serious health problems including liver or kidney disease; axis I and II comorbidity; suicidal or killing thoughts; pregnancy; drug hypersensitivity to SSRI or SNRI.
