1. Either gender diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetic Mellitus.
2. 18-75 years of age.
3. Uncontrolled blood glucose level in spite of exercise dietary goals plus on metformin monotherapy.
4. Treatment naïve patient with HbA1c<=10 % with altered fasting and post prandial glucose.
1. Type 1 Diabetes mellitus.
2. Pregnant & lactating women.
3. Type 2 Diabetic Mellitus patients on insulin or on OADs other than metformin and sulphonylureas.
4. Patients with HbA1c <7 or > 10%.
5. Patients who are allergic to drugs containing sulfa component in their chemical structure.
6. Patients who are suffering with end stage systemic diseases.
7. Patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
