Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\*Patients with COPD
- •1\. Out\-patient Men or Women \>40 years of age
- •2\. Current or previous smoker with a history of smoking equivalent to 20 or more pack years.
- •3\. FEV1/FVC\<0\.7, Post\-bronchodilator
- •\*Control group
- •1\. Health Examination Center Men or Women \>40 years of age
- •2\. Current or previous smoker with a history of smoking equivalent to 20 or more pack years.
- •3\.Normal Pulmonary Function Test
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Physician\-diagnosed asthma
- •2\. Tuberculous destroyed lung
- •3\. Bronchiectasia
- •4\. Pneumonectomy
- •5\. Other diseases like cancers, heart failure.
