入选标准

•1.All patients aged > 18 yrs scheduled for elective surgery after at least 8 hrs of fasting.
•2.ASA I and II physical status

排除标准

•1.Lack of consent for participation in the study
•2.Presence of abdominal mass or ascites
•3.Pregnancy
•4.ASA III, IV &V physical status
•5.Poor Sonoanatomy causing poor visualization of the inferior vena cava and the right atrium
•6.Fasting less than 8 hrs or emergency surgery
