Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing aged 18 to 80 years requiring elective colorectal surgeries for cancer and diverticular disease, and were eligible for laparscopic surgery
Exclusion Criteria
Contraindication to the use of local anaesthetics.
ASA :PHYSICAL Status 4 and above 4.
BMI:35 KG/M2.
Severe cardiovascular impairment.
Psychiatric disorders.
Necessity of major resection other than colorectal(liver, pancreas, uterus and vagina)
Palliative surgeries.
Patients who required the formation of a temperorary and definitive stoma.
Patient refusal.
