Inclusion Criteria
- •irreversible pulpitis. Patient with moderate to severe spontaneous pain and exhibited a positive response to the electric pulp test (EPT).Only patients with moderate to severe pain were taken up for this study (NRS \> 4\).

- •Exclusion criteria included any reported allergy to local anesthetic agents, unstable cardiovascular disease and pregnancy, neurologic disorders with sensory disturbance and not able to provide written
