Inclusion Criteria

The sample will be composed of subjects who present a moderate level of pain (EVA-3) at the trigger points of the upper trapezius muscle during the clinical examination; which do not present coagulation dysfunctions; fibromyalgia; cervical radiculopathy; surgeries of head, neck, shoulder girdle; not on anti-inflammatory / acupuncture / muscle relaxant treatment.

Exclusion Criteria

If the evaluation does not appear; do not agree at any point in the study with the ICF; to give up at any stage of the research; or show Aicmophobia (fear of needles).

Primary Outcome Measures

Reduction of pain and skin temperature at the trigger points of the upper trapezius muscle is expected, as verified by the Visual Analogue Scale and Pressure Algometry; and by the thermographic camera, from the observation of a variation of 5% in the pre and post intervention measurements.
Secondary Outcome Measures

It is expected to find an increase in the range of motion of the cervical spine, assessed by fleximetry, from the observation of a variation of 5% in the pre and post intervention measurements.
