Cricket is a team event that demands the players to assume different activities like throwing, bowling and batting, bowling, fielding, batting,. And wicket-keeping in the same game . Due to its intermittent nature, this game imposes a considerable load on the physiological and neuromuscular systems. A preliminary investigation using amateur male cricketers indicated that training practices can be outdated, restrictive and monotonous . It requires individuals to execute a range of movements with varying intensities, such as striding, sprinting, turning, and jumping. Muscle strength has been put forth as an important factor in enhancing the effectiveness of cricket-related activities, Bowlers benefit from upper body and leg strength to enhance their deliveries, batsmen rely on arm and core strength for powerful shots and balance, fielders utilize upper body strength for precise throws, and wicketkeepers depend on strong wrists and forearms for catching and stumping. In cricket bowling, for example, faster deliveries reduce the batter’s decision making and execution time of the stroke and increases the chance of the batter being beaten for pace

入选标准

  • Healthy amateur male cricketers within the age group between 18-26 will be included.
  • Players who have been practicing cricket for at least 2 years.
  • Players practice at least 3 days/ week.

排除标准

  • History of any musculoskeletal injury , neurological impairment or psychological impairment .
  • The players should not participate any other exercise program during the intervention program.

Flexibility:Sit And Reach Test

时间窗: baseline after 4 weeks

次要结局

  • 1) Speed- 30 minute Sprint Test(2) Endurance- YO-YO test)
