- •1.) Age from 18 years up to and including 85 years
- •2.) Confirmed acute pulmonary artery embolism using CTPA (computed tomographic pulmonary angiography)
- •3.) Diameter ratio between right and left ventricles (RV/LV) = 1 in CT scan or echocardiography
- •4.) Concentration of troponin T above the detection limit
- •5.) PESI Score III-V

- •1.) Hemodynamic instability
- •2.) Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- •3.) Low-risk pulmonary artery embolism
- •4.) Earlier inclusion in the study
