Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients aged from 20-40 years.
2. Patients with maxillofacial injuries who require clean intra-oral surgical incision for Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF).
3. Patients who are not systemically compromised.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with infected wounds
2. Patients with avulsive soft tissue injuries.
3. Patients who are systemically compromised.

Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF)

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The results of the study designed may be used to establish the benefits of knotless Barbed Suture for wound closure in oral and maxillofacial injuries which will reduce intra-operative time and provide efficient wound closure . <br/ ><br>Timepoint: patients will be followed on 1st ,3rd and 7th post-operative day to evaluate wound healing. <br/ ><br>
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method patients will be followed for evaluation of wound healing and any allergy or discomfort at the site of wound .Timepoint: patients will be followed 1st and 2nd month post-operatively.
