Type II diabetes mellitus, according to American Diabetes Association criteria; between 20 and 70 years old; of both sexes; in diet therapy or with oral antidiabetic drugs and signing the term of free and informed consent.
Individuals with type II DM with very high risk, ie those with previous ulcers and / or amputations, clinical diagnosis of hemiplegia, paraplegia, or Parkinson's disease; limb amputation; a history of alcohol or drugs; a herniated disc; leprosy; severe arthritis that prevents walking; insanity; intellectual disability; and other psychiatric disorders.
