Inclusion Criteria

Patients of various etiologies admitted in Intensive Care Unit of IGIMS, Patna.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with clinical signs of raised intra-abdominal pressure, moderate to severe Valvular heart disease,supine position is contraindicated, CVP catheter inserted for greater than 24 hour and refusal from patient.

correlation of Central Venous Pressure and Inferior Vena Cava diameter and collapsibility index in assessment of intravascular volume in ICU patients.Timepoint: The study will be done within 24 hours of central venous catheter insertion. Inferior vena cava diameter will be measured during inspiration and expiration.
