Brief Summary

The present study is single arm clinical trial to assess the efficacy of ’’***kirumi eṇṇey’’***for the treatment of ’’***kuá¹­al kirumikaḷ*** â€™â€™.

In this trial 40 patients will be recruited and the trial drug will be administrated orally 4 to 4.5gms twice a day before food along with milk for a period of 5 days age between 2 to 12 years.

Primary outcome measured on 1st and 5th day secondary outcome measured on 15th day

Inclusion Criteria
  • The patient reporting to the OPD will be screened for the following symptom and the subject with minimum 5 of the following symptom will be included in the study 1.
  • Pain around the Umblicus 2.
  • Bruxium (bitting the tooth during sleep at night) 3.
  • Pruritus (itching or pain around Anus) 4.
  • Hypopigmented patches in skin 5.
  • Gastric distension 7.
  • Loss of appetite 8.
  • History of passing worm in the stool.
Exclusion Criteria
  • Below 2 years and Above 12 years 2.
  • Patient with chronic disease like primary complex,chronic renal failure.
  • Enteric fever 4.
  • Amoebiasis 5.
  • Patient not willing to give blood and motion sample for investigation.
