Inclusion Criteria
Age 1-14 years,
ASA grade 1 and ASA grade 2 patients coming for elective perineal surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
Children with neurological or neuromuscular disorders, a history of hemorrhage, coagulation disorders, allergy to the drugs being used in the study, an inguinal incision required for surgery or any contraindication to regional anesthesia will not be included in the study.

Name Time Method Duration of postoperative analgesiaTimepoint: pain scores will be measured every 30 minutes after surgery until the first rescue analgesia administration.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method to find the incidence of perioperative adverse effects like nausea, vomiting, brady cardia, arrhythmias, desaturation, etcTimepoint: intra operative & post operative period until patient discharge. during surgery hemodynamics will be recorded every 30 minutes & 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 10 minutes & every hourly during the postoperative period until the patient requires rescue nalgesia.
