1.Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of AIIMS Rishikesh
2.Participants with Insomnia and PSQI score >5 confirmed from the baseline assessment
3.Participants who will give consent
1. Psychosis or unstable/ significant depression, anxiety under active care (more than 1 monthly mental healthcare visit or requiring more than 1 psychotropic medicine daily)
2. significant current practice of any form of meditation ( >15 min per day)
3. restless legs syndrome (RLS): the participants with RLS will be excluded on the basis of 5 essential diagnostic criteria for RLS
4. pregnant and lactating mothers
5. active or terminal cancer
6. Pain syndromes that affect sleep (Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic back pain)
7. Participants with recent trauma and acute illness which required hospitalization of 7 days in last 3 months
8. Participants with moderate and high substance involvement (ASSIST)
9. other medical conditions that confound salivary biomarkers outcomes
