Inclusion Criteria

1. Female subjects suffering from backache for 3 months or more following caesarean section.

2. Age between 18 and 45 years.

3. Literate patients; ability to read English and/or Bengali

4. Providing with written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

1. Cases with complications of pelvic inflammatory diseases.

2. Patients having history of recurrent urinary tract infections.

3. Cases presenting with confounding variables such as backache existing before caesarean section.

4. Patients who have undergone caesarean section under general anesthesia

5. Vulnerable population - unconscious, ambulatory, too sick for consultation, differently abled, terminally ill or critically ill patients, mentally incompetent people.

6. Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other uncontrolled or life-threatening illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure

7. Pregnant and puerperal women, lactating mothers

8. Patient under tobacco chewing and/or smoking, alcoholism and/or any other form(s) of substance abuse and/or dependence

9. Self-reported immune-compromised state

10. Already undergoing homoeopathic treatment for chronic disease within last 6 months
