1. Age 50 years or older (Friedly et al 2012)
2. Pain in the low back, buttock and or lower extremity with standing, walking and/spinal extension (leg pain more than back pain) (Friedly et al 2012)
3. Patients having neurogenic claudication from central canal stenosis (Friedly et al 2012)
4. Both newly diagnosed case of LSS as well as those who have failed a course of conservative management of any duration
5. Pain in Numerical pain rating scale more than 4 (Friedly et al 2012)
6. Radiological finding of lumbar spine show narrowing of spinal canal diameter which are grade A and B (Constantin et al 2010)
7. May be able to read English/ hindi and complete the assessment instrument
