Brief Summary

The effects of the intervention on extended theory of planned behavior(ETPB) related variables (eating and activity behaviors respectively) were as follow. There were statistically significant time, group, and interaction effects on eating behaviors (attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control(PBC), intention and planning, p < .05) and activity behaviors (attitude, PBC, intention and planning, p < .05) at 12- and 24-week except subjective norm of activity behavior. The improvements in ETPB variables of eating and activity behaviors (except subjective norm) at 12- and 24-week were significantly greater for intervention group compared to the control group. There are the changes in lifestyle health behaviors and cardiometabolic health from pre-test, post-test to 24-week follow-up. There were significant differences in lifestyle health behaviors including eating and physical activity both post- and follow-up test between two groups (p<.05). Intervention group had a greater increase in lifestyle health behavior scores at 12-week (F=27.99, p <.001) and 24-week (F=11.69, p <.001) compared to control group. In changes of cardiometabolic risk markers, waist circumference(WC, F=11.28, p =.002), SBP (F=4.36, p=.043), DBP (F=6.43, p=.015) had statistically significant difference at 12-week except for fasting blood sugar. At follow-up test, only WC was significantly lower in the intervention group compared to control group at 24-week (F=5.99, p=.004).
