Brief Summary

Both REHIT and MICT were followed by reduced HRV immediately after exercise cessation in men with insufficient PA levels. Furthermore, HRV recovery tended to be slower following REHIT. Nonetheless, within one hour, HRV was fully restored after both exercise protocols.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Healthy inactive males aged 20\-40 years
  • 2\. classified as low physically active according to the International Physical Activity Questionnaire
  • 3\. BMI 18\.5 \- 22\.9 kg/m2
  • 4\. Non smokers

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Individuals presenting with musculoskeletal disorders within the previous six months
  • 2\. Other serious underlying diseases
