Effect of platelet rich fibrin on bone regeneration in combination with xenograft after maxillary sinus augmentation: A histology and gene expression study

Phase 4
Completed
Conditions
Platelet rich fibrin, maxillary sinus floor augmentation, gene expression, xenograft
Pneumatization of the maxillary sinus in patients with healthy medical conditions requiring two-staged maxillary sinus augmentation.
Registration Number
TCTR20220510011
Lead Sponsor
Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai university,
Brief Summary

The newly formed bone, contact length between groups did not significant difference. the statistically significant difference was found in the mean percentage of residual bone graft among the groups. There was no significant difference in relative gene expression between groups.
