Study Overview

Brief Summary

This study comprises a Clinical Study to evaluate Efficacy of Palash Kshara Application with and without kankayan vatak in the Management of Arsha (1st & 2nd ,3rddegree hemorrhoids) –.  Kshara Karma and Agni karma therapyhave been identified as para-surgical measures having minimal invasive procedures. These procedures have many advantages like-simple, safe, effective, ambulatory and known for minimal or no complications, less time to stay in the hospital and minimal disturbance in patient’s routine work. That’s why it is readily acceptable to patients.  Kshara Karma procedure interpreted to potential cauterization application therapy is the specific field taken in to research for finding out the better approach in comparison to the modern counterpart. In relation to Kshara Karma, Sushruta   has advocated Kshara Pratisaran, which isa quite relevantmethod for the cases of internal piles of 1st and 2nd degrees.groupn A only Palash Kshara Application done.and group B Palash Kshara Application with kankayan vatak 500bd for after given for 15 day. and befor and after these procedure sitz bath in panchvalkal   kawath and errand bhristha haritaki , and matrabasti of jatyadi tail given. Symptoma like analysis PR Bleeding, discomfort, constipation etc Local examination done like  Inspection, Palpation, Per Rectum Digital Examination, Proctoscopic examination.follow up 4 weeks.

Inclusion Criteria

  • age 18 to 70 years either gender patient who are suffering from 1st ,2nd and 3rd degree soft,deep seated and elevated piles.

Exclusion Criteria

  • age less than 18 years and more than 70 years 4th degree piles rectal prolapse malignancy of ano rectum pregnanat woman hepatitis B,T.B,HIV& VDRL positive cases uncontrolled HTN,DM cardiac malignancy.

Relief in sign and symptoms of raktaja arsha

Time Frame: Relief in sign and symptoms of raktaja arsha in 1 month

Secondary Outcomes

  • improves quality of life of person(improves quality of life of person in 1 month)
