Inclusion Criteria
1.Clinically stable PLHIV patients with WHO clinical Stage 1 and 2 disease.
2. 2 groups of patients. First group of ART naive patients and second group of patients who are ART responsive and stable on ART for more than 1 year and less than 10 years.
3. Age 18 to 60 years
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with neurological, neuromuscular and muscular disorders.
2.Patients with Cardiorespiratory disorders
3.Patients unable and unwilling to perform exercises.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Interventions for sarcopenia will be performed in the form of resistance exercises along with ART. Thus, we hypothesise that there will be improvement of sarcopenia in with these interventions.Timepoint: 3 YEARS
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Sarcopenia has high prevalence among Retropositive patients and certain factors like duration of the disease, low CD4 count and high viral load at baseline may be associated with Sarcopenia and HAART is likely to improve it.Timepoint: 3 years
