Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Head \& Neck cancer patients starting a course of post op RT.
  • 2\.Surgery to one side of the neck only or Modified neck dissection.
  • 3\.Patients planned for antero lateral or single lateral RT field.
  • 4\.No history of previous shoulder or neck surgery or known shoulder pathology.
  • 5\.Shoulder abduction active range of motion not more than 90 degree.
  • 6\.Patients having no evidence of residual CA in neck or shoulder or any metastasis.
  • 7\.Age more than 18 years.
  • 8\.Patients who are able to carry out resistive exercises.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients with bilateral neck surgery or Radical neck dissection
  • 2\.Patients who are unable to cooperate with the exercise programme due to physical psychological, social or any other reason.
  • 3\.Patients who are unable to give written consent
